    I moved on already but this seems to be continuing. It was pretty clear the alternative I mentioned being based on finishing positions per year, not based on potential value. I'm pretty over this "discussion" so whatever you decide is what we'll go with.

    I'm only making the point that the power ranking and draft system isn't designed for equality of team performance. It's designed based off a potential performance and team value. Should we just make the champions of the league the team with the best value at the end of the season from here on...

    Good management is having the players. Bad luck is not having the players play. It's no one's fault they are injured but still remain top tier players. But why should others be rewarded for bad management and good luck over others who have tried to set up a good team? I've knocked back offers...

    Sure those guys aren't setting the world alight. But someone could get always get the next Nic Martin in theory. It's the principle of it all.

    Manual fixture is definitely a way to even it out. Even if it was the first month just changed so top teams played bottom teams straight up. Even a month-long lock on waivers would sort it out better.

    Kinda defeats the purpose of holding them though if you're being punished at the draft just by how good they were or could be. The reality is you don't win games/points without them. Why should a team be punished at the draft on top of having them out all season on the roster?

    I didn't pick anyone. The point being the fixtures are flawed in terms of giving the worst teams most advantage to get back up the ladder.

    How on earth am I 4th? This seems wildly inaccurate. I've had major injuries all year and have only recently just crept up the standings (i wonder why?) Tony 8th but 4th is still way way way off where my team is at.

    Yeah. My team didn't suddenly go from zero to hero over the off-season. It's just the luck and imbalance of a round 1 fixture. It has the potential to change an outcome of potentially the most important waiver order of the season just based on pure luck of the draw.
