    Only downside I see is it will possible move the game even more towards run run run. Meaning your bigger key position players may become redundant.     I'm personally not adverse to reduced numbers on ground. You could easily drop 1 or 2 and have the effect of the games being more open with reduced congestion.

    Couldn't agree more. This is one soulless franchises member who would welcome some natural selection to the comp. Been a long time coming the chance for equality.

    I suppose we could do everyone a favour. Buy 2 povo Victorian clubs. Fold them, then get back to a 16 club comp. Will make the fixture work much better.
