    Liek Like the Eagles member who was scalping 5 standing tickets for $5k on Gumtree last night? I rather tickets go to people who are actually planning on going to the game which might not necessarily be members who qualify for the ballot.

    Yes. Tickets issued to members can only be used by members as tickets are not transferable. However the reality is non members still use them to get in.

    Each ballot entry is most likely for more than one ticket. So 5k ballot entries averages to about 3 tickets per entry.

    Given AFL Members Tickets are not transferable, and assuming you are not the member then it is difficult. The member selling the ticket could be penalised if they find out.

    I made it to Melbourne. The flight attendants kept me posted with progressive scores of the prelim match. Now the hunt to get tickets to the big game.
