The club website literally says he's a medium sized defender. Even the club views him as a medium sized defender as he took starce's role when he was out. Noah has stepped up in these rules numerous times in the past, and i'm sure he will in the future. By the way, a 186cm Zack Guthrie played on...
I get it, but the club views Answerth as the exact like for like for starce, barring their differing attributes. Watson is around 12-14cm smaller than Answerth. While he plays well on smaller defenders, he's actually classed as a medium sized defender like Starce.
There was a bigfooty poster who said before the grand final that Brisbane and New Balance had reached a new deal; which would be revealed after the season is over. It's already January 6th, and there's been no news of that. Fair to say that was a lie, and the fact that New Balance has rehashed...
Home kits should remain untouched, but the away and third should be changed. Anyone who disagree's probably are the same people who think a 2pm AFL grand final is better than a twilight one; i.e., stuck in the past.
I feel like people keep forgetting that Answerth is the like for like Starce replacement. He was earlier last season when starce was out and Daly even said so himself recently. Also, i maintain that Answerth has a higher ceiling than Starce, and we didn't look out of place with him in Starce's...
Think Will needs to take a concussion test. How in the hell do you consider yourself a Victorian when you only spent a few years there? He was born in QLD, played in the junior program on the coast and only moved later in his teens for football. That's like me spending a few years in france and...
Miles is an idiot. Let's not talk of the possibility of him returning to office again. The only good thing he did was the 50c fares, and that was because he was so far behind in the polls that he was desperate enough to do that. Plus, he's an NRL nuffie who would do anything to tug vlandys off.
That was a farce as well. Also, with respect, the Victorian team is too good as it is. Bringing in players that should be ineligible would only make the contest more lopsided.
Ashcroft was born in QLD and spent most of his life in QLD. He literally only spent a few years in Victoria. Would have been a farce if he was in the Vic squad.
AFL should have had a NSW vs QLD origin match as well.
It could have gone like this
Vic vs WA
QLD vs NSW
SA vs Tas (although I imagine that would be a blowout)
Competitively speaking, QLD vs NSW would be the closest game in terms of raw talents.
I don't know why the club doesn't inverse the colours. Maroon on top, blue down the bottom would look good. As would maroon down bottom and yellow on top. Inversing the fitzroy colours would look good as well.
I firmly remain in belief that the paddlepop lion was responsible for everything that went wrong with our club in the mid 2010's. Once we remove that lion from our official logo, nothing would be standing in our way for a 7 peat.
First of all, you can't. Our anthem has our colours as maroon blue and gold. Secondly, our home jersey is meant to represent all of our history. You remove the gold, and you remove the bears aspect of our our jersey. I do agree with shrinking the lion, but I have grown on the slightly bigger...
