I think his disposal is slightly better this year. Seems to be holding the ball a bit longer and making better decisions. Last year it was just bang it on the boot every time.

There is no such thing as s loose man in today's footy. You leave a man loose, and you get cut up. And yes he has been seen in all those positions, doesn't mean he has been given the licence to roam free. I have also seen him follow his man from the middle to the goal square, following his man...

Well it's a bit hard to judge Hotton yet, Smillie. And he went at pick 17 so a lot of clubs passed on him. So f**k up is a bit strong.

Have Richmond passed North and west coast

I'm not salty and I like the passion Reid plays with. Everything he does on the footy field is done at high intensity, including a bit of theatrics, and he like all the good players is marked hard. He's just a kid so has some kinks to iron out. Time to worry is when he stops acting so...

Loose player? In the midfield he is told to go back and help defence, mainly becauSe that is where attacking mids go. So he follows his mid, strange concept for our slow mids, but somebody has to do it.

And where would that be. He is our weakest link in the weakest midfield in the comp. Nobody will take a 30 year old players who is too slow for the game and getting slower. We will pay out his contract because with the amount of youth coming through and the improvement from Ross and McAuliffe...

    List Mgmt. AFL Mid-Season draft - May 26, 2026

Maybe, but surely we can do better than a maybe and go for either the best talent or the most needed or both hopefully. One position that never gets discussed is the small forward role. We don't really have a dangerous, super quick, dedicated small forward. Green is going well enough, but Rosa...

    List Mgmt. AFL Mid-Season draft - May 26, 2026

Toner doesn't seem to play with much intensity and is pretty light. Besides his 6 goals, and another of 3, his next best is 1 goal (6 times) in 18 matches. His highest disposal is 18, but averages only 11.6. So whilst he definitely has talent, he is not exactly knocking the door down. Doesn't...

He's very similar to Algar, maybe even a better mark, and like Algar he looks to have a good all round game. If both were to come on one might go up to the wing perhaps so worth a punt. Certainly looks like he has the tools so someone will take a punt you'd think.

Looks a lot like Smith who can't get a game.

He did it 24th Feb, 2 weeks before rd.1. 16 week injury. It's been 10 weeks, so 6-8 is looking about what you would expect. Might be ready for the last 10 games if all goes well.

I think Mansell would be a better wingman than either of them. He has all the attributes of a wingman and we could do with his aggression. He is just as fast as Hugo, much more physical and a better kick. I think Mansell might struggle to retain his place long-term in the forward line when we...

North need tall backs more than anyone.

    Player Watch #28 Kane McAuliffe

True to a point. For his development it was a way of getting games into him whilst Prestia, Hopper and Taranto were the key mids, and showing him running patterns etc. But after 7 weeks of that being an obvious weakness, Taranto out, Hopper comes straight back in and same old same old. But for...

Perhaps the closest would be a left footed Seth Campbell. Would be very surprised if was ever to reach Campbell's level, but he is classy, a good runner without Seth's pace or freakish ability. Good kick and typically smooth moving lefty, sounds a bit like my good self, in my day.
