I used to think that way as well. But it is actually incorrect. He does owe us to see out his contract. He hasn't really given his all to the club if he opts out.
Having said that, if it is true that he wants to be traded then strip him of the captaincy and find a suitable deal. If no deal can...
I will genuinely miss the person - maybe not so much the player.
For someone who relies so heavily on athleticism to make up for football shortcomings, his departure could be a blessing in disguise.
That's my copium anyway. I'm gonna miss 'ya Sam.
This was my first game in attendance for quite a while, and the first with our three year-old. I said early on that we'd lose by 30 and I wasn't surprised or disappointed by the eventual score. We showed a lot in the first three quarters, which was nice.
So much better in person than on TV.
Not a high level of skill being shown so far. Reminds me a bit of junior footy with all of the back and forth.
EDIT: Except for that RFC goal, I guess.
We have one player with X-factor, and not only that, he's also loyal, and now we're deciding to play hard ball. It's an interesting decision and it's probably going to blow up in our faces.
There are a lot of things that you can question Jake on, but he's consistently kicked goals for this team...
