Lyndale were defeated by Hawthorn Amateurs, Reserves by less than a kick and a fair margin in the Seniors.
That being said there were some positives to come out of it, not too many opportunities during the H&A season to throw around the side with no consequences.
Further this year, shows how much people will believe rumours.

To me it looked as though it was Cossi who ran through the mark, obviously he was caught up in the excitement of the game. Scoreboard attendents were wrong all day which does not help the players at all but both benches knew what the final result was. Congrats to Mount who were able to kick a...
Couldn't tell you for sure who was missing from the side but I can assure you that Wilkin & Gough played and Mount were blown out the water early by Panton Hill. Just as a casual observor I would of said the margin was around 20 goals at half time.
We don't hunt players and throw coin at everyone in order to bring success, although that being said there will be a couple that will be getting something here and there. The selection of Beanie as senior coach this year has been a boom and I would say that 14 spots in our senior line up will...
On the morning of the match there was 6 missing, after the match there was 10 and now a few days later it was half a reserves side? Make up your minds.
Practice matches are just that and excuses don't have to be made when losses occur. By the way after quarter time when we were comfortably up...
Laughing Stock hey? Yeah we finished last but it is a bit extreme to be throwing that term about. Certainly a much better sidethan in previous years. The match against Hawthorn was a great hit out as it was in 2012, great bunch of guys who played it hard but fair.
Kangbangpow what club are you...
Lyndale beat Hawthorn Amateurs by 17 points yesterday and played Eastern Lions last Friday night in a 6 quarter game and matched them through the night. When both senior sides were out on the park I think we might of been up by 1 or 2 goals. Hard to say when there is no goal umpires or scoreboard.
Fair call, new coach at the club doing a huge amount of work generating interest in the club and bringing prospective players down from all levels of footy.
And the club finds the money the same way all div 3 clubs find it, hard work.
