    The magpie is a juvenile, because it hasn't yet fully transitioned to black and white. Sort of like some of our young players.

    I think they would complement each other - grunt from one and explosiveness from the other. If Ed does have a breakout year, our midfield issues will ease considerably.

    I think his perceived indecision and wayward delivery is mainly about confidence. He just needs to say to himself "I'm the man", and everything else will fall into place, given he has all the physical tools.

    It's also about giving other players a run through the midfield, including some of our young players. Someone could, and should, take the bit between the teeth and run with it.
