    There's no way in the world Brisbane will take McCarthy. Not after just picking up Paine, McGaune, Freeman as an Academy selection and they've got Close and Paparone plus a few ruck/forwards waiting in the wings.

    IF the other 4 had gone and Yeo had stayed I doubt any Lions person would have even cared that much at all. WC very lucky to have him. Its probably been said many times, but why do players always get "homesick" in Brisbane, but no Queenslanders playing interstate ever get home-sick !!:mad:
