Well we were excited. Not so much about the ladder position, but our first game in the NFNL was a blast . Probably the biggest H&A crowd we’ve ever had…great vibe in and out of the rooms…a win in both the 1s and 2s. Couldn’t ask for much more. It was a terrific reward for a lot of hard work...

Im hearing there is only 12 U17 teams this year, with South Morang and Eltham having two each. Should this be a concern for clubs and the league more broadly?

Greensborough beat Airport West by about 40 points. Ran all over them in the last quarter, and if they hadn’t have kicked 3.8 or 4.8 (or maybe even more inaccurate) in the last term the margin would have been greater. I know Angus Sievers didn’t play but unsure about other outs for either side.

Good hitout for the troops yesterday. Grovedale prevailed by 7 points including a goal after the siren.
