It's how grading how has always been done. 4-5 rounds gives a good enough indication to know where teams are at. Whittlesea have played every other team in Div2 and comfortably accounted for them all. They also have players to come back in. They'll will be more than competitive in Div 1...- Words: 110

A thirds comp would be great, but sadly wouldn’t work. Not every team would have one, so it would likely be a single division of whoever has. It would mostly consist of overflow players from the 2s, so imagine Heidelberg playing a team from Div2 or Div3. Blokes would lose interest very quickly.- Words: 54

Might be in the minority, but I think local footy night games are an awful watch. Good as a bit of a novelty perhaps, but the game is harder to watch than in the day, especially at a huge ground like Coventry.- Words: 42

They won the Div2 Grand Final by 100 points with their foot off the throttle in the last quarter. I’ve seen enough local footy now to know that with the exception of Heidelberg, a Div 2 premier of that quality is matching it with Div1 teams- Words: 47
