A thirds comp would be great, but sadly wouldn’t work. Not every team would have one, so it would likely be a single division of whoever has.
It would mostly consist of overflow players from the 2s, so imagine Heidelberg playing a team from Div2 or Div3. Blokes would lose interest very quickly.
Might be in the minority, but I think local footy night games are an awful watch.
Good as a bit of a novelty perhaps, but the game is harder to watch than in the day, especially at a huge ground like Coventry.

I’ve seen enough local footy now to know that with the exception of Heidelberg, a Div 2 premier of that quality is matching it with Div1 teams
