So there's been a lot of chatter about the Rams taking JFF, and they did just have a private work out with him. Could all be a smokescreen to get someone to trade up but I'm starting to warm to the idea. I like Bradford but do think JFF has a very high upside, particularly in our dome, with our...
I'd feel a lot more comfortable long term going OT as well. Still think Robinson would be a great fit - play LG and take over from Long down the track. With Saffold at RG, Barksdale solid at RT, Barrett Jones at C next year could be the makings of a solid line.
I think we still need difference...
Yeah, it's better to spend the money on a player you know well than a relative unknown. Also sends a good message to other players in the team that they will be rewarded if they perform.
I'm a bit disappointed about Schwartz but but seems he was not particularly interested in coming here. I wonder if it's going to be a hard sell for offensive FAs to come to us given our division and Schottenheimer.
Hopefully they're just being smart with the cap considering we need a long term...
I reckon we'd put robinson at LG, as I think Barksdale is better at his position than smith is, and that would be a brutal left side in the running game. That would be a pretty decent line.
Malcolm Jenkins could be a pretty reasonable option and a very good chance of happening - could come...
Yeah, Schwartz makes sense. Don't want the Rams to draft based too much on need, especially with the the second pick if we keep it. While Robinson could very well be BPA at 2 if they think Clowney or Watkins is BPA then they should take them. Same with 13 - while we need a free safety if...
My main worry now is the oline. Seattle game was very disappointing - we could have had Aaron Rodgers at QB and I can't see us scoring any more points. Couldn't run the ball and seemed like each completion was a minor miracle. Felt the gap was much wider than last year.
Saffold has said that he likes playing guard the best and he was so good there - imagine when he gets offseason time at guard under his belt. If we can pay him as top five guard money (also includes his ability to play LT) that would be great. But I reckon someone will pay him high tackle money...
Solid win.
Agree with you all - Stedman bailey is going to be a good one for us!
Long injury puts a bit of a dampener on things - complicates our offseason. We need to keep saffold pretty badly.
Though we can go 4-1 and make it to the playoffs at 9-7, one of those wins has to be the 49ers otherwise we lose to them on tie breakers assuming they also finish 9-7.
What shall we do going forward? We will likely have two relatively high draft picks - I'm guessing from 7-12 range. Do we draft a QB with one of those picks or hope that Bradford comes back next year and picks up from where he left off in the last three games? Maybe draft a higher potential...
Agree with all of this. Need to get in the no huddle more, not just when we are behind.
Very disappointed in the defence. Seemed when the Falcons needed to they could move the chains at will.
Penalties really hurting us. Long's offsides on the first drive that prevented the three and out...
