    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2012

He was at a wedding last weekend. Don't forget he just got married, has a career as a school teacher and isn't going to walk out on that at 29 years of age to play footy. He is playing at Vultures....has a niggling injury but been in the gym but is hoping to play round 1.

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2012

well yes maurie as you suspected, just sniping from other clubs like last year with all the morningside rumors. Have spoken today with a 'senior' player at the vultures and it is all rubbish. Quite surprised to hear it actually. Reckons there has been good numbers at training and in fact the...

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2011 - Part 2

Ok looks like the suns got blown away this week in the third quarter again. Will we again see the same disrespectful comments being made about the opposition again. Give a bit of credit to the blokes out there going hard at the footy for a change. Stop hiding behind 'what other people are...

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2011 - Part 2

Good question chikka. I would think that both Vultures and M'side should both be in it already. NT are automatic like this year as they finished 4th or 5th last year and had automatic qualification. Suns and Lions both have scheduling/player management issues already without the added load of...

Maybe fingers too fat for the keys on the iphone hey dumbness. Team lists just posted on website. Suns have shown their intentions. Didn't even qualify enough guys for finals by the look.

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2011 - Part 2

Do tell Lifes a Beach....I would be very interested in hearing what the basis of the discussion was. I know in many circles that similar topics get discussed and thrown around. You don't have to name names etc but I would like to hear if different groups manage to see and identify the same...

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2011 - Part 2

They've been given every concession available all year so why stop now. Probably the same as what Lions have had over the years...first semi, play as many as you like and then we might start pulling you up.

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2011 - Part 2

By far the hardest road trip in this comp. 4 hour flight to Darwin at lunch time and then play in 31 degree heat that evening. Tough ask. On a different note. Where to here for Redlands. Do they continue to recruit and pay big dollars for even more outsiders.

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2011 - Part 2

So someone in authority needs to answer this question. Why does the team that finishes second have to play away in the first week of finals and the team that finishes 4th get to play at home...which is of a great advantage both ground wise and crowd wise.

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2011 - Part 2

What a promoters dream come true up in Darwin this weekend. The winner should be able to put one hand on the minor premiership with only one round left after this week. Also the 4th and 5th spot will come down to some fairly intense footy over the next two weeks. You could say that finals have...

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2011 - Part 2

Well snorkle not sure what you watch when you go to the footy but it may pay for you to dig deep into your pockets and spend the 3 bucks each week and buy a footy record. Not sure as well just how long you have been watching. Not that I am about to defend Redlands here (and this was only a...

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2011 - Part 2

Yes, good observation dumbness. Also interesting to see that at this stage the teams who are already finals bound plus Redland and Broady who are knocking on the door not only give their young fellas responsibility but their style of footy also differs. They appear to be more footy purists...

    NEAFL - Northern Conference - Season 2011

Spot on Chikka. Playing one game won't cut it. What about the season Gav Grose has had to date. Tyrell did a number on Weymouth a couple of weeks ago as well. Vearing in best just about every week as well.

This sort of thing has been going on since the Dion Scott days at Redland. He was sacked mid season and the only decent results they have had since was courtesy of Matt Francis.
