    I saw a GFL A grade netball game last saturday that resembled what football used to be like. I then watched a GFL senior football game that resembled what netball used to be like. Why is this happening? Do other people see this or am i on my own here?

    Ok then lets get something started. I have seen a few gfl games this season and the thing that stands out the most to me is the poor standard of umpiring. We dont want to umpire bash too much but they seem to worry too much about how they look and act, instead of actually getting a decision...

    Now that would be one of best things to happen to the League if somehow it could be done. Could cost a bit I would imagine, but maybe the League could at least ask the question to the powers that be in Melbourne, they can only say no.

    I dont disagree with you but then I dont agree with you on some things. The WFUA do like their money, or some of them have that a priority instead of umpiring for the game. But we should be paying them good money as it is a hard gig. Club umpires will not be superior to the ones we have now...

    I would have to agree 100% with you slenko, the umpires are their own worst enemies. But if the WFL go ahead with this plan, where are they going to get their umpires from?

    You cant have it both ways, both ways. He was gone about 2 weeks ago, then he is not gone, or are you confirming what was expected by a few people that he is gone for sure or is it this week he is gone and next week he is back?
