Really not sure about this. Remember the reports in February that Kennett was trying to sideline Gowers on the selection committee and push for Nankivell to take over. Strong dose of reserving judgement I think. -

Geelong supporter....no doubt an unbiased source. If memory serves me well Taylor Walker was rubbed out for two matches for a sling tackle on Harry Taylor recently. However part of the MRP rap sheet was that "high contact" was involved i.e. his head hit the ground. No high contact in this case... -
