Would you drop Gibbs for Ellard?

dropping gibbs is a bit harsh. His body physique is too fragile to be an in-under player. He's our ball carrier whether we like it or not. Judd is a god for contested possessions but if you look closely enough he's not ball carrier. Judd's strength is his ability to break the line. I...

Preview The Hoodoo - Can We Finally Break It?

I reckon we will win and win well. We'll click as a unit this Friday. Playing scrapping footy and win is better than playing pretty footy and lose. We own the Swans one.

Have we improved as a team?

Personally i think we have improved as a team. We've learned to win matches that we would have lost or get ran over if it was a year or 2 ago? Fair statement? Are we becoming the new StKilda? Winning without class or polish but it is still a win. We have genuine stars but the last 10...

    H & A games are over...here comes the finals

We have lost the last game of the H and A. Lost opportunity for a home final. The game is loss already and dusted. Not much gains from losing except for reviews of performance and tactics. Robinson is not a liable as David Rhys-Jones was. Maybe he's not there yet as a smart and skillful...

    Carlton Vs Sydney elim final

I think we will be playing Sydney in an elimination final @ the SCG. Better than playing the Hawks or Freo. Should be good game Vs Sydney. We should win? Maybe? Thoughts?

We are 1 KPD away from being a Top 4 side

we more than 1 KPD to be a top 4 side. What we need is pressure and intensity applied all over the ground. 1 KPD only helps a percentage of game time. If you think Carlton needs 1 KPD to be a top four side than you are dreaming.

    Rd 21: Geelong vs Carlton

Did Hampson rolled his ankle or a corked thight?

    Rd 21: Geelong vs Carlton

If AJ isnt avaliable, i think the next option will be Carrazzo. He might able to get under Ablett's skin. But Carrazzo must be purely use as defensive running off Ablett. Make Ablett worries about Carrazzo but the only concern Carrazzo might not have the speed to keep up with Ablett.

    Finally! Our Best Forward Line?

It is great to see Henderson hitting his strap heading toward the finals. Glad to see he's repaying the debts he owns to his believers. The fruit is sweet and ripen, ready for September. He and Garlett will push us far into September actions.:D

    Hampson next Kouta?

Is this possible or impossible? He needs to hold his mark. He needs a bigger engine. We know that he can jump and run but when he develops a footy brain, he'll be close to being the next Kouta. Thoughts? Dave

    Toward September

We are heading toward September and our 22 players are not settle. I believe anything will go. Fringe players or Core players, they will need to earn a spot in the team. Ellard will play the remainder 3 games plus final. Who else will join him. Hadley might. Remember how Hadley played in a...

So, who are our best 22?

I dont think we have best 22. Our 22 is on a week to week basis. Fringe players are stepping up leaving our core players need to perform. This is good heading toward September. Our 11 to 22 will need to perform from now on (hoping). September is everyone is playing for and i guess no ones...

Preview Rnd 20: All Encompassing Carlton vs. Richmond Pre Match Discussion & Teams

Team balance Davies will play. Davies should get another game. You can not get anything out of a player for a game. This does not build their belief and confident. Walker and Co. should not be rush in. Built up their desire and hunger. Will be good for the finals:)

    Are we that BAD?

Any side that kicked 6 goals for the term against the pies are either good or just got lucky. Sure the match was over but kicking 6 goals for the term is not bad at all. If we applied the same intensity and pressure for 100 minutes I am sure most side would crack. We are brittle and that's...

    Eyes of the beholder

For the last 4 to 6 weeks, as a team we are playing as individual. There are no team spirits, no protections, no 5% body over the ball and have lost confident in each others. I think we as a team become too selfish and self-centered. The wins over St Kilda and Geelong are history. We can...
