Beacuse they lost to Horsham by 79 and 99 points and Nhill by 60 and 56 points. They also lost to Horsham Saints by 68 points in round 17 and although they beat a lacklustre Horsham Saints last week, they only had 22 scoring shots to Saints 30. I acknowledge that bad kicking is bad football, but...

Just wondering what everyone thinks about the coming weeks games. The Eagles are pretenders and never should have beaten the saints. The demons could win that by 100 points or more. Apparently the saints were over confident before the eagles game and weren't prepared. The Tigers have good...

I agree with Monoghan being the last backman to win it. He won it with 14 votes if i recall correctly, from Ben Walters from Nhill (who wasnt within 40 vote of the Nhill bnf).

Sorry to rehatch old news guys but i only get on this site sporadically and wanted to voice my opinion/concern regarding this incident. The problem with this situation (and it's not only this incident or wimmera football, its a lot of rules and at all levels) is that there is so much grey...

I'll have a go at the Toohey. Being a Nhill supporter my biased opinion leans towards Chris Ladhams. He's played great games in the games the Tigers have one, and stands out to everyone. Kicks goals as well, which is a big bonus. Only thing that will hinder his chance is that the umpires and...

A few points to make here guy. Without umpires there wouldnt be football, Wimmera league or elsewhere. So get off their back, give them a break and get on with it. It's a tough job and they basically do a good job. If we didnt have thugs going around king hitting blokes then these problems...

Was speaking with Holmes (the bloke Burgess donged) and he said Josh only got one week. Holmes said he went in to bat for Burgess and said there was nothing in it. And knowing Holmesy, he probably did deserve it. Got a face people love to punch haha. Unfortunate about Brodhurst, had quite an...

    Will Bowden Play?

What an absolute joke some of your supporters are, for the past 2-3 years he has generally kept the Roccas, Browns & Pavlichs quiet to 2-4 goals and there would not be many of those games where he gets less than 30 possesions.. He is one of your best users of the ball... Give the bloke a break...

I think you will find, although not highly publicised, that Dunnstown have recruited a demanding power forward, by the name of Mark Dowley. Apparently he isn't overly tall but leads hard, has great hands and rarely misses when he has a chance. Tough as they come too, i hear.

I'm sure he'll ba a handy acquisition to the learmonth side ohwhenthesaints. I did see the young fella getting around during o week at uni. Both times i saw him he was incapabale of scratching himself. I think he had more beer down the front of his pants than anywhere else. Good on him.:thumbsu:

    Wimmera Football League

With Brearley in his final year of Uni it would have been crazy for him to take on the coaching job. Now that Nhill have apponited Joel Price (is that right), things might start to improve a little. It is hard however, to see the tigers being able to match it with most teams if the departures...

    Wimmera Football League

Some very good points there RT. I think the main difference between the junior structure in the 97/98 (which was great to be a part of) and the current junior structure, is that the current one starts a lot younger. There were around 40-50 kids that played in the youngest age group each of the...

Definatley has no fear, but i would say that he has everything but pace. Played 2's all year at St Arnaud last year. I think Matt Hines' younger brother Ben is in Ballarat starting uni this year. May head out that way too.

    Wimmera Football League

That was my initial thought too RT. If that is the case, how would you see the tigers season going? Gary has done a lot for the club and league, but with his business commitments, would he have enough time to put 100% into the job? I vividly remember, as i'm sure you do, the controversy that...

Re: North Central Football League With the season fast approaching crunh time i'm interested to hear ppl's predictions for the rest of the year compared to their preseason predictions i.e ladder, grandfinal teams. Also with only a few games left, who are the tips for the feeny and possibly a...
