    I'm not sure about that.

    Opinion Matthew Nicks: Adelaide's Coach (Part 4) - Re-Signed to 2027...

In relation to the discussion around having faith in them moving him on, the single year extension is a signal they wanted to see more improvement. If it doesn't come, I doubt he'll be there next year. As for the soft cap, I don't think a pay out is that big of a deal, if they have structured...

These same people are the ones who only gave him 1 extra year.

In the context of head coaches, our history is we have not had long term coaches. Nicks is in his own category, because he has been a rebuild coach. That period has ended. If things continue like this I don't see him continuing into next year.

Rumour Speculation, Rumours, Lies Thread 2026 - Part 2

It's after pretty late on a Wednesday, it's crazy seeing a Power player out on a Wednesday this late, even crazier seeing them completely sober just meeting seeing mates. Can't you just catch up for lunch? I never get that.

Opinion Non-Crows AFL 13: Cyclone Season

They want 4x first rounders for Butters? Why stop there, why not 5, or 6?

Opinion Non-Crows AFL 13: Cyclone Season

If they were absolute top rated players, I think I'd understand. Say Adelaide decided they wanted 2x top 10 picks this year. They go to the trade period with this goal, what would they need to give up to secure 2 x top 10 picks?

Opinion Non-Crows AFL 13: Cyclone Season

If these changes result in clubs finally paying closer to a fair price, that's the important thing. There's a lot of focus on the clubs impacted over the next two years, but they won't be the only ones. If we have a top rated F/S down the track we'll also have to pay 2x firsts.

You can go into deficit and you can trade picks two years in advance.

Opinion Non-Crows AFL 13: Cyclone Season

You're first point, I understand why they are pissed. Your second point, you're stuck in the old way of thinking. If you want to be moving up the draft to get access to top 10 picks, you absolutely should be paying something.close to what you really would have to pay to move up to a top 10 pick.
