From my recall, which is sometimes questionable, they were very gracious and were happy for Sando. Then again, Geelong are normally an understanding club, unlike some. -

Actually, Geelong were happy for Sando to stay until the end of their finals campaign. It was Sando who elected to leave at the time he did as he wouldn't have had the dedication to Geelong. -
Kerridge plays Rd 1
Just noticed that Kerridge is paying $81 for the Rising Star on one of the popular betting sites (and only $41 on another one). If he is selected in the round 1 team I am grabbing those odds. -

I notice that the Rendell story is not getting a mention on the AFC website. I do hope that this isn't a directive and that it just hasn't been updated as yet. At least it's on the AFL site. -
Round 1 2012
For me, Kerridge instead of Douglas. Swap Mackay and Henderson. I feel Henderson is more adaptable, either forward or back, whereas Mackay is primarily a mid-fielder. Whatever the eventual team is, it's good to be in a position to leave out good players. -

Though Triggy was in Melbourne, did he actually meet with Neeld? Keep in mind that with a new coach comes new assistants, fitness personnel, etc. Could be scouting for the new coach's preferred support team.
