    Yeh I’m very soon to be 39 and I reckon in the last 5 years I’ve just been dropping the weight of all my lifts to something hard but manageable. It’s not worth risking an injury or even niggle tbh

    This is true but you do tend to see ALOT more men ego lifting than women. I absolutely ego lifted at some point too so its not really a shot at us men, we just tend to care alot more about the number on the bar than women.
