    I was expecting more from wehr this season, but I also assumed he was on two years not three. Brodie and watkins getting two years isnt going to be a game changer but makes no sense. Evans, Marshall, Farrell, Lukosius...even rozee. These contracts are nuts.

    It does feel like there is a lack of synergy and confidence between scouting, trading and development. I think the club is in a position where they really need to focus on the structure and staffing of this area.

    I thought it was fine. I prefer a bamert pick with upside over a mature watkins, brodie, liddy We were always getting a ruck. Happy it wasn't at our first pick. Its someone who can play a role and also isn't the finished product. I'm fine with not taking a third pick if we didn't rate anyone...

    There seems to be so much upside with nhh. November birthday who had his draft year interrupted by a series of unfortunate injuries and illness. Looking about, he was genuinely considered as a first round draft possibility.

    Assuming we finish bottom 5, we get a start of round 2 pick for Carlton matching walker. Then we lose the compensation if we match a bid on cochrane. Wtf. I just looked at our contract list and it is horrid.

    Richmond currently have 25 players to choose from and will need to name a squad of 26. Some of their players need to be on managed minutes recovering from injury. It would be great if Sam toner could get a game off their vfl list a few days before the mid season draft.
