    Fox Footy could learn a thing or two from the old "Sports AFL" Channel. Heck, even C7 used to show a classic match every week in full, not just 1 hour highlights.

    Interesting article. However he got this thing wrong. In its first season of operation (the "new" final 8 system) it gave us a grand final featuring the 1st and 2nd teams on the home-and-away ladder. Actually the 1st and 3rd placed teams made the Grand Final in 2000.

    I think the Swans should play something like two home games a year at Stadium Australia. Thus, whenever there's a game there it feels like a "special event" and will bump up the attendance.

    Telstra Dome

    Docklands Stadium isn't really a dome. For it to be a dome the roof should be semi-circular, like the SkyDome in Toronto. I think it would have been more appropriate if they just called it the "Telstra Arena".
