    After the final series he's had (and part of the regular season) I see him lining up week 1 next year. If he stuck around at the end of last year I don't see him leaving unless someone else throws a huge contract his way.

    Played really well today, especially in the first quarter. Deserves his medal and his place in the team.

    He just needs to hold onto his marks and he'd be able to kick a lot more goals. Still more forward development required before he is a guaranteed starter.

    It was unsportsman like (like most of the things he does). Staging carries a fine and suspension (after so many times) and this is essentially the same, doing something outside of the rules to try and get an advantage.

    To Forceful a rule is it?

    The only way I can rationalise it is if the umpire thought that the player (Goddard) was hit with strong force 'off the ball' and thus wouldn't be expecting contact. I didn't see any head contact and I think it was within the area of the ball, play on.
