Who would you send to Gold Coast for May

A fitting player, will be likely to play in Round 1. They can't argue about "Go Home" factor.

Player Watch Dayne Beams (Retired 2020)

It would be unrealistic 10 years ago, but as the game sits in the current landscape players like Dayne Beams, and to a lesser extent Bryce Gibbs last year, they are worth their weight in picks due to their ability to play midfield/forward. I would be absolutely stoked to trade a first-round pick...

    List Mgmt. Trade & F/A - 2018/2019 - Part 2!

Do we go all in for May? I believe we must to contend for a premiership. If we get May, presuming he nominates Collingwood as his preferred club, Langdon and Goldsack will be expendable pieces to move on as it clears salary cap room to land May. The backline is developing nicely, Appleby will...

Player Watch Tom Langdon (Retired 2020)

There are 2 Tom Langdon's for sale - Grand Final Day Langdon, H&A Langdon. Take your pick, which is it you want?

    List Mgmt. Trade & F/A - 2018/2019 - Part 2!

Oxley is a pretty good 25 year old fringe half back in the competition. So yes, he could be handy to use in a half back/wing role because he can kick the footy.

    List Mgmt. Trade & F/A - 2018/2019 - Part 2!

Goldsack may not play on at Collingwood, so we are being told. Scharenberg may never play again in any meaningful way, we must resign to the fact he has had three knee reconstructions, it's not over but we shouldn't have high hopes for him. Langdon and Howe are walk-up starters but who knows...

    List Mgmt. Trade & F/A - 2018/2019 - Part 2!

I wouldn't touch Marcus Adams in a hurry. He's played 30 games at AFL level, has been battling away for a few years, not even guaranteed to be in the Dogs best 22. Smells like a ruse to something bigger in mind, sniffing around for a defender who doesn't play enough footy would be the worst...

    List Mgmt. 2018 Draft thread.

Buckley's chance. For starters we shouldn't pick him up for his own sake, nothing can be gained by drafting a brother of a gun. Dayne and Claye Beams is a prime example of this sentiment, Dayne is a superstar and Claye was always going to struggle to break through in the same side. Secondly, he...

Opinion Is it time to change Pendles’ role?

No, midfield is his strength, I would love to see him play as a tagging midfielder at times like he did this year against Cripps, Fyfe and Mitchell although he will still get 30 touches most weeks. He's been a workhorse and sets the standards for the young group coming through.

    Player Watch Jamie Elliott

It wouldn't be a Collingwood season without an injury-prone elusive forward re-signing haha. I wonder if we will see him on the park.

    Prediction Copeland Trophy 2018

Top five 1. Steele Sidebottom: Mr Fixit is a privilege to watch live, you don’t get the full appreciation for Steele unless you have seen him live. He plays in a manner accustomed to the likes of Sam Mitchell and Shaun Burgoyne, he gets better with age. 2. Brodie Grundy: Incredible season, but...

    Nick Maxwell - Open Mike

3/5. I would not recommend watching it other than the fact he's Collingwood royalty. It wasn't as hard hitting as some of his previous interviewees and he stalled when mentioning Mick/Ed/Bucks contract arrangement, he could have been more honest if he wasn't entrusted to keep his thoughts...

Analysis FINALS! - Who and where will we play?

It would be very hard to see anyone beat Richmond in the first week of the finals. They'd played 2 MCG games in a row prior to their first final, perfect preparation in the lead up to a Qualy Final. They thrive on wearing down an opponents psyche, having seen them play this year with their...

Oppo Camp Taylor Adams (Traded to Swans 2023)

Has the capability to be an outstanding captain. As he grows into the captaincy, he will relish in the role with the same intent on the field as Selwood, and hoping for his kicking to continue to hit the right notes and potentially be a useful goal scorer when needed. If he doesn't get a top...

Changes For Round 19 vs Richmond

Not sure. If Moore comes in he must pass a fitness test, playing one man short and against this mob we will be in for a long day. Murray would be the likely omission again, given he doesn't offer the back line versatility to switch on defence.
