What the heck? Why have sponsor's logos replaced club badges on guernseys?
I've noticed plenty of teams now have sponsors logos on the left where the club badge should be. What is going on? In my view it's a disgrace.- Steadroy

Could someone please explain why those in and around the AFL feel so compelled to use the terms "football club", "footy club" and/or (insert club name here Football Club) in what seems every interview?
