    Training 2019 Preseason

    Thought I'd check in to BF to see how things are. Lots of topics!! My interest is to see how our team will 'gel' given that we have new players, each with their own style, strengths and weaknesses. I like how Fagan promotes a quick entertaining style of play and I'm hoping that continues.

    Player Watch Dayne Beams (Retired 2020)

    The trade period is always tricky. Just google and read 'how Nathan Buckley went from a Bear to a Magpie'. Wish Beams well. He applied himself well this season despite his personal circumstances. I think he has plenty to offer for a while yet.

    Review Round 20, 2018 - Brisbane Lions vs. North Melbourne

    We are playing well and playing a style that’s really exciting. McCluggage is amazing. He seems to be composed in the thick of things a lot. Reminds me a bit like Nigel Lappin in that way. Really pleased how the team is improving.

    I like the style we are developing. It's exciting and great to watch. I like how we're perservering with it and not becoming too dour. Great patches of play, looking good for the future.

    Gee. A well contested game. Both teams are trying hard. I like Brisbane's endeavour. Adelaide seem to have our measure ever so slightly. Last quarter...who will wilt first as both teams look physically stuffed.
