Port Adelaide - Now or Never?

I was at Elizabeth oval last week to watch Port vs. Centrals, and Ebert was a class above anyone else that day, in terms of disposal and the length of his kicks, in the very heavy rain. The only other player who had disposal near the same quality as Eberts was Kingsley. The only thing Ebert has...

    Nick Stevens ?

Port can't lose. All 3 options look good: 1. He hasn't signed because he's decided to go home. Port will get a great deal for him. 2. He hasn't signed because he's taking a risk and hoping he has a huge finals series, which will up his salary, no matter where he goes, but still Port either...

    Port Fans: What's acceptable?

Sheedy? He's the biggest injury whinger ever. Lose Lloyd or Fletcher for a fortnight and the bombers fall to bits, Sheedy gets the kleenex out. Same with Brisbane, lose Voss for a few weeks and all of a sudden they're just another decent side in the middle of the top 8. Port have lost Francou...

Wanganeen on target for Brownlow #2

Will be interesting to see if Tredrea gets any votes from the Richmond game then. 20 odd disposals, 13 marks, 5 goals 5...

    I have a feeling....

Wow..what a huge, risky call! on the one hand we have Adelaide who are playing an elimination final, because lets face it, no team from outside the top 4 finalists has a chance in hell of winning the flag. One the other hand we have Port, who can barely be bothered even showing up to play at the...

    3aw poll

Yes they do, i listen to 3AW/Rexy games every week on the radio. Adelaide/Port games always get preference if one is on, but if there isn't, we get whatever game 3AW is doing at the time through 5AA.

    Port Fans: What's acceptable?

There was an article recently on either the AFL site or the age site, can't remember which, but it pointed out how Port have been the team most heavily affected by injuries this year, including having more games missed by their top 10 highest paid players than any other club. To be 3 games and a...

Who Will Win Dons vs Pies Rnd 22

Cuteness aside...If Port and Brisbane got to play their last 11 or 12 games at home (whichever it is Collingwood has had), they could easily make 2nd on the ladder too...oh..wait a second....

How much of a bigger tosser can Choco Williams become?

I'm a one eyed Port supporter but even i cringe when Choco says something like this. Richmond certainly has some players that, if they have a big day at the same time, could beat Port. He's a smart man, maybe he's working to some grand plan, who knows. He was all humble etc last year...maybe...

Nick Stevens and/or Luke Power to Richmond

Port can afford to let Stevens go and NOT replace him with a similar player, because we will have Francou back next year, who is a better player anyway. Peter Burgoyne has emerged as a high quality midfielder, his brother will too. If Stevens goes, i'd rather get a quality defender or forward...

    Lets be realistic

Hows our form against them away? We've beaten them all away this year except Collingwood who we only played at footy park. Beat Sydney and Essendon away last season also. I wish Port WOULD get some finals in Melbourne. We've lost 2 close finals at footy park, and been smashed twice in...

Who is best roughie for Brownlow?

I wonder if Tredrea be worth putting a few quid on? He has had some stomper games this year, and plenty of other games where he could easily have scored 1 or 2 votes. I don't know what his history is like with Brownlow votes though, or whether or not he abuses the umpires.

Which team will have the next REAL Era?

In a few weeks it could officially be a Port era. If they can get up and win the flag...that would have them as having 2 night flags, a day flag and 2 mclelland trophies, and the best H&A record over the last 3 years, even better than Brisbane and Essendon. That would be a pretty fair little era...

    Best mark in the AFL?

For all his acting and gay idiosyncrasies, Lloyd takes some really strong marks, often against 2 defenders. I'd say he's the best mark in the AFL, then Chad Cornes a close 2nd. Then tredrea and Neitz.

No charges from fiery MCG clash!!

Campo should be careful not to do that to Brett Burton. Any other player in the league is ok, but don't do it to Burton. He'll be singing like a bird.
