He would have figured highly in the votes again last week, and would have been competing with Zantuck for 2 votes today behind Tredrea, who should clearly have taken the 3.

wasnt that good today (by his standards) but is having a great year, hard to pip guys like voss and buckley though, who are having better years.

Wanganeen had a clearly better first half of the year than Voss and Buckley, it is just fresh in the minds the stellar second half performances of Buckley and Voss.
Wangas has gone from 3 vote games to 2 possibly one vote games since the break.
The Geelong Rd 21 hoodoo shall be broken this time around, the past four winners have all got the three votes against Geelong in Rd 21.

Crawford 99
Woewodin 00
Akermanis 01
Black 02

I reckon Wanganeen has it in the bag.

Interesting to note though, round 21 whoever plays Geelong and picks up the 3 votes has managed to win the Brownlow over the last couple of years....If the trend continues, would Akermanis have a chance?

what are you talking about voss first half of the year was not that good it was twice as good as his last half.
Harvey may have a vote today, good to see the best player out of the top 3 picks in the 2001 draft to play great Luke Ball you champ.

What are you talking about?
I never said that Voss's first half of the year wasn't that good, I just said Wanganeens was better, and that Voss and Buckley had been better than Wanganeen in the second half.
What are St Kilda fans talking about in general, in another thread they state Tredrea is not a champ and Luke Ball is?

Either you are on drugs, or you just make flippant comments to suit your argument with no recourse to the facts......

Voss' first half of the season was better than his second half, and his second half's been pretty good. He will get 3 against the Kangas, Geelong and the Bulldogs from rounds 3, 5 and 6 and he will get votes - probably at least 2 for his efforts in round 1 and 4 against Essendon and Collingwood.

Personally I think it will take 25 votes plus to roll Voss, but good on Wanganeen or anyone else if they win.

Its great that players of the ilk of Voss, Buckley, Hird, Wanganeen, Harvey, Ricciuto, Cousins, Crawford etc are in the mix this year, should be a great count.

Surely though, you have a very short memory or you just didn't watch any Brisbane matces early in the year to make the statement you did.

Voss will win it from Wanganeen and Buckley. Hird will be top 5. Goodes will poll well at the start but has dropped off. Harvey wont poll as well people think. He was at his best when the saints were losing 5 in a row. Recently there has been lots of people to steal votes from him. Crawford and Cousins wont poll as well as people think.

Crawford will win it this year.

I am sure that G Wanganeen got rubbed out this year........

Nope he has played every game... Burgoyne has been outed twice this year along with Chad Cornes the once.

Of course he will win. He is like the favourite player amongst all the umps. Also a protected speccies.

The Brownlow has major flaws for me to take it serious.

Let me guess...an on baller will win it again this year.

:o

Warren G. Tredrea would be a fair chance.

Has he played on the ball at all this year? If not i dont rate his chances.

You could be the best CHF ever to play the game and the umpires still ignore you.

The Brownlow is a joke.

Damn straight.

Carey was robbed so many times it was funny in the end. Watching the Brownlow was p1ss funny in '98.

14 marks, 27 posessions and 6 goals 2 or something.

0 Votes.

Will be interesting to see if Tredrea gets any votes from the Richmond game then. 20 odd disposals, 13 marks, 5 goals 5...

The better award is the AFLPA MVP. At least it's more accurate.
