    Hird is clearly a champion. Lloyd may become a champion but it will be a while for the jury to be in. 'though on Arch's criteria Corey McKernan would be a champion as well (and there are few that put in him in that class). Medals (or b&f votes don't always tell the story)

    Essendon will have arguably "faded" if it doesn't make the GF. To argue that teams that have a slight dip in their position have faded is ridiculous. I will, however, predict that whoever the Bombers play in the GF will fade away early in the first quarter.

    Sorry Sandie but I'm actually a Don's fan but the handball tactics of our side irks me - mainly because the team doesn't have to do it. It's a ploy that has exploited a weakness in rules interpretation that makes the game uglier.

    Mark Mercuri - easily the most overrated player in the league.

    I would actually nominate Jade Rawlings as the most underrated player at Hawthorn and he's done it with a pretty ordinary first name. Hay is pretty good though as well. O'Loughlin is underrated - some of it might relate to being in a fairly ordinary side.
