    B Section 2010 - Part 2

Who cares what's happening with Robbins. Things change wildly in the make up of clubs from year to year due to the the dollar, international tours, injuries, work, etc, etc and it's just pure speculation what's going to happen in 2011. Stick to the on field action i say. Interesting to...

    B Section 2010 - Part 2

I think the Rovers faithful may be a little bit touchy after their finals aspirations fell by the wayside over the weekend Amo Fan. Still a good effort to remain in B section though. Percentage will be vital to the teams between 3rd-6th position, not much in it.

Haileybury and Ivanhoe should make the 4 with their run home. They both have Hampton, Oakleigh and OEG in the last 4 games, all very winnable.

And then there were 7. Two games out plus percentage is too much to make up in the last 5 games for Hampton. Interesting to note that Old Ivanhoe are yet to play the bottom 3 teams twice, but have Haileybury next round in an important matchup for both sides.

I agree with ML. Play on. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion on who they think will/wont win. All clubs have their alleged 'feral' supporters, but this should not tarnish the rest of the club who are generally great people to deal with. I've had nothing but good interactions with St...

    B Section 2010

It would appear that the final 4 will be made up of 4 of the top 5 teams as the ladder currently stands. Only one that could come from bottom 4 would be OEG. Whilst Ivanhoe are top, they have played 2 of the bottom 3 so havent really been tested as yet.

Whilst I'm from neither north or south, Griffin does have a point. Hampton, Haileybury both missed finals last year and Oakleigh are coming up from C Grade. It's not exactly the most outlandish comment. Time will tell i guess.

    B Section 2009 - Part 2

It is becoming tedious reading Hampton Rovers posts defending a guy who got five weeks. Looking at the posts it is evident that both the tribunal and the appeals board found him guilty so he can't exactly say that he didn't have an opportunity to defend the charge. Cmon gents, enough with...

    B Section 2009 - Part 2

Although i have not experienced it before, there seems to be plenty of animosity towards the gentlemen at Hampton Rovers on this forum. Is there something the upper sections of VAFA football should be aware of? Are they a club that can survive in the top tiers in the long term? Hope it is...

A Section Amateur Football (Part 3)

Can anybody from OEG confirm that they only had 13 players at Thursday night training as written in Max McGraw's article earlier in the week? If that is correct, very very poor reflection on the club.

Good luck to the winner of Hampton v Ormond. At least we will have one pack of ordinary blokes in B Grade and one in C Grade. Good for VAFA football.
