    Booze comes down to quantity, I'm fairly sure it's 2 1/2 litres per person. Anything over you pay tax on. As for food I wouldn't chance anything with seeds or nuts.

    Never done backpacking but I know in Hanoi there is akot of backpacking hotels in the Old Quarter and worth 2-3 days while in Saigon theres alot of cheap accomadation near Ben Thanh Market which is full of backpackers. As for the smaller towns in Vietnam they are around but never looked for...

    She rides my (our) VFR800 when ever she wants. Neither of us have ridden a quadbike and am a bit weary of them after seeing accidents on funniest videos. Google "Gibbon Adventure Laos" under videos and this is what she had us doing last year at the age of 46/42.

    You'll love Angkor and its surronding temples. The buses all go the same way around Angkor with the crowds. The taxi we grabbed from the airport offered to take us around for 3 days and kept us ahead of the crowds, we were Templed out after 2 days and paid him out as a tip for the 3rd day.
