Pretty much sums up what I feel.
That North game last week. I went, I watched, I sat numb with family members. I walked out when down by 98 in last quarter.
Since the 186 disaster things have only got worse and worse and worse. No end in sight.
Really, most of the players are not up to AFL...
Of course there is a future.
Bloody good future too.
Club will rise again.
Those who stick by the club will one day see the reward we all want to see.
I remember how bad the Swans were when Buckenara was coach in early 1990's (20 plus losses in a row)
20 years later Sydney Swans have won 2...
I hope our young general turns out to be as good as the one who played in a flag for the Tigers, Mark "The General" Lee.
Gawn was good today. Long way to go.
I'm no Neeld fan but we simply have to stop all the negativity, suck it up and get on with following the Red and the Blue.
A week is a long time in footy.
The future will take care of itself. Good or bad.
I want to see what Neeld does this year as the coach.
Today the side was terrible.
Up to...
For me, a family man with young children we have far too many Sunday twilight games. Simply arrive home too late after the match. The kids are tired, school the next day. Not happy.
Fair share is 2 Twilight games every club. From memory we have 4 Sunday Twilight games at MCG?
He was good except for the one key fault that ruined him as a forward. Very poor kick for goal when less than say 35 to 40 from goal. Did kick well from around the 50 just not close.
He won the ball and had plenty of shots just didn't kick straight. Still frustrates me thinking of his goal kicking.
Re: Dees v the Dogs - the Good, the Bad & the Fugly - Woof !
Agreed Syrus.
I'm gutted by the performance.
I went to the game today.
I don't like twilight matches. Went because of the Stynes tribute. Took my kids along.
I'm sad to sad that this current Melbourne mob this year, new coach and...
Don't blame Bailey and BP.
Why you ask?
Why not blame so the so called brains trust, the special group put together who interviewed Bailey and others in 2007 and then decided Bailey was the man to take Melbourne forward.
Cannot remember who appointed BP but anyway the fault there lies with the...
I agree this season has been very frustrating. The big losses very disappointing. Whilst we will probably finish around the 9 or 10 win mark (hopefully) the big uncompetitive losses have been very hard to bear.
Bailey is gone. A new coach and new game plan is on the horizon. Soon a new season...
Fair comment. Hall was guilty.
Swans should still be the team with longest premiership drought.
At least it wasn't a Victorian team that was screwed. LOL.
The comparison is very impressive. We are very young.they experienced, decorated top players.
However don't forget a fair few of those Geelong boys played in the losing 2004 prelim to Brisbane. Point is Geelong were good when those current 200 game senior boys had played their 70 to 120 games 7...
