    Depends on how you look at it. Playing crap teams is probably not the best preparation for a tough finals series. I'd rather play more quality teams. If your aim is to win the grand final then you need to beat the best teams all year. Having an easy draw might give you a few extra wins and help...

    I play WRFL D2 and we didn't play interleague last year either. Must admit I reckon the two comps should play eachother. It would be an interesting contest and they are very close geographically.

    Rupertswood are in the VAFA. They are moving up to C grade next year after playing in the last 3 grand finals. They are looking to recruit a bit more toughness into the club to help with the jump in grades. Slammer last played there in 03.
