    I have a spare kids ticket for today (they never check). Ponsford Gold L2 undercover. Price for a Hawks fan is a couple of beers. Cats fans - half a dozen beers.

    Agree. Reckon we will sit on 19 teams for at least 5 years. If GWS were stronger in Western Sydney, Canberra would be my pick.

    Reckon Hawthorn’s fan base is very location based. We outnumber all clubs on the Belgrave/Lillidale lines. Maybe behind Richmond and Collingwood in the Glen Waverley line. Very thin in the Northern suburbs.

    All public tickets including standing room sold out. That leaves around 8k -9k for club members to scan in today. Will be interesting to see if that is filled. Unlikely without public I reckon.

    Perhaps the MCC said ‘no’. Each upper bay holds around a 1k seats, so there will be 6k for public/club walk ups, and around 3K for AFL members. Assume most of the MCC would be walk ups.

    This is an excellent move. Hawks @ Cats have relatively low AFL members. Great work by Hawks/AFL. This might crack 90k.

    Yes, Q1 - 6 is for walk ups. They should make that members only. Less than 100 seats left, plus standing room. I don’t see why they can’t put a few more bays on sale. If walk ups are limited to three bays, say 3k seats, so be it. If you can afford the extra $20 for a seat, or don’t want to...

    So, Hawthorn should play four games in Tasmania just in there is a season where a home games might only draw 22K? Makes no sense. Play those four games in Melbourne and an extra 100k would attend.
