Just a reminder, not that I probably need to do it, but if anyone does get into discussing actual plot and the film itself...

I enjoyed it, but did anyone get a fair few Harry Potter vibes?

What I realised today after sneaking out of work and watching it was that the problem has been that I have wanted every Star Wars film since Empire to be awesome and become increasing excited prior to a new one being released only to be left with disappointment levels ranging from mild to severe. Today was no different. Loved the battle scenes but Ray doesn't do much for me as the protagonist and I can't understand why spirits were so high near the end of the movie after most of the rebels had been wiped out.
I guess the spirits were so high because the survivors survived when they easily shouldn't have
My rankings for the main saga films:
Empire Strikes Back
A New Hope
Revenge of the Sith
The Force Awakens
Return of the Jedi
Attack of the Clones
The Last Jedi
Phantom Menace
Oh god no. I hate that s**t.I enjoyed it, but did anyone get a fair few Harry Potter vibes?
Rae being the gay love child of Han and Luke was something I didn't expectJust a reminder, not that I probably need to do it, but if anyone does get into discussing actual plot and the film itself...

Revenge of the Sith that high? That should be burned forever.
