It'll be interesting what role Jagga plays this year. He looks great but still super skinny. Doesn't look to have put on much weight during his year off. Might struggle to play big mid minutes with that build, although could be the exception.

Might just be his build, but I was hoping to see him put on a little more size than what he had. Might be under instructions not to atm ?

I'm no expert, but surely they wouldn't be getting an 18/19yo to bulk up during ACL recovery.

Actually put on a couple of kilos. Very strong and bigger than you think. Very strong core I'm told.

I know looks can deceive but nothing about his physique screams strong AFL footballer. Already one catastrophic injury, I reckon if he gets another or a string of nightly injuries he’s tracking like a bust.

In an interview he said he didn’t want to bulk to much wanted keep his agility and speed.
The Bont was a skinny rake when he came in and has kept that slippery skinny mode of play all the way through he’s bulked a bit with age but still plays skinny

My son flew over to Melb this past weekend for the Motorcross.

Just happened to be on the same flight as Crippa who was heading back for training today.

Made his day and weekend. Got a photo to update his last one which was the day before the NM MCG game this year. We both still haven’t recovered from that horror show.

Walley still only 17yo, so very much an underage draftee.

Is it unusual to ask a 17 year old to move from WA to Vic for a train on position?

Reckon we must really rate him to do that.
Or would a guaranteed VFL role be sufficient?

He's had an injury interrupted year but his natural talent is high. A long way from the finished product but really is the perfect type for the club to take a punt on as he's athletically very different to the rest of our battling small forwards. Kickett was another but he ended up on a rookie list.

Walley looks more of a high half forward/playmaker than a goal sneak in the highlights that I watched?

I found his best work was done close to goal through the year. Didn't have the work rate and accumulation needed to be that high half forward/playmaker at the next level. Don't think he would have averaged over 10 touches a game going off memory at the start of the year.

Just watched his highlights from last year's futures game, and yes, I get that these are low pressure....looked to be playing that role...set up three and kicked 1.4, could have had a huge game if he kicked straight.

Jagga looks fine. He will put a lot of muscle in the next 2 to 3 years.
