Not at all I think the exact opposite. They are not robots he knows his role when elevated to the AFL side. He is senior player in a young VFL side, he should be used as such.

Particularly when the side is getting belted, this pidgeon players in VFL because that's where they might play in the AFL is doing head my head in.
