“Potential to do harm”.

Was that not the biggest crock of all time?
🙄
I know I'm a bit late on this, but I want to set the record straight.

On the list of biggest crocks of all time, 'potential to do harm' is outright third behind daylight.

At the top is Steven Baker's 'attempted striking'.

Damn shame about Ryan but Butler gave us bugger all up forward anyway. Not that much difference to last week.

To be fair to Butler, he seemed to play a long way from goal since he came back in. He almost seemed to be playing as a loose run-with with Jagga Smith last week.

Ryan/Higgo didnt play last week & Butler virtually didnt either .... so we had no legit small forwards v Carlton anyway

Wilson if ok should come in

I would be ok if Collard did as well .... in the likely humid conditions forward pressure could be vital
Yep Wilson in will help.

Are we flying up today and main training up there tomorrow ?

Weather is meant to be horrific tomorrow in Melbourne 🥶

tony74 ?
Hi Tony74's burner here, training is from 9.30am to 11.00am tomorrow morning.

The main difference is we are playing a good team this week and not a shit team that has only beaten Richmond so far.

We got away with missing Ryan and Higgins against Carlton, not sure we will get away with it against the Nepo Babies.

Wilson will help if he returns as he is a goal kicker, Collard might too but I doubt he returns after one game in the VFL.

True

But Butler has been pretty hopeless the last two weeks. I'm saying I don't think losing him is a big deal. Ryan and Higgins are obviously both big outs.

I'm going to Italy in mid September to mid October. If we get on a run and make the GF, I told my wife there will be hell to pay as this trip wasn't my idea lol
I'm not entirely convinced that you'll raise hell for your wife if that scenario unfolds.....

But I guess she may always give you back your pants for a day and you'll go off tap..... ;)

Thought I had a long memory…🤣

Butler will be lucky to be in our best lineup , with Henry finding form and Wilson coming back we are not in to bad of shape - Higgins is a loss but getting the other 2 in the side softens the blow.

Got to bring in Collard ..he has something going on at the moment and we need to cash in ..even if it's just for Darwin.
Thinking the same thing. At the very least get him on the plane to Darwin. A trip with the team would be good for him.

This is a MASSIVELY big game for us. Either we've beaten up on a couple of also-rans in the last couple of weeks, or we've clicked as a serious team. I'm thinking we've got our crap together and beating the Nepos in Darwin will force the pundits to wake up. No excuses 😠

Hope we run a tag on Trac - windy could follow him from midfield into the forward line.
This is a must win for us imo , we are on a roll and if we can get past this mob it will give the team a hell of a lot of confidence going forward - Petracca a good player but he has had his day - over 30 and heavy set (explosiveness is gone) and now prone to soft tissue injuries / more worried about there other mids who have the speed to cut you up.
Knowing my luck he will turn it on this week.

Our side is naturally starting to gel and players are starting to get to the form we know they can play - TDK , Marshall , Henry , Sharman , Howard all starting to play better football - getting Wilson back this week will be a bonus as well.
