Listen to Talking Tigers podcast … Jack Z on with a run down of the kids including Smillie and his trip to USA.
Thank you for mentioning this. JZ is a very impressive speaker and boy, is he enthusiastic about the talent we have on the list. Very upbeat about Smillie too, which I’m so happy to hear. Mentioned Cumming, Hotton, Lalor and Grlj too and spoke about how driven they all are. If only we could get them on the park!!!

Spoke this morning to a sports medical afl employee and asked his opinion on Josh gibcus situation.
He stated that even after Years of injuries that u can still get back your elite traits and become elite at afl level.
Gawn-petrraca-docherty-judd-mcarthy-swartze. All had long years of injuries.
He said rfc would know that he needs gradual managed minutes and that by late 2027 his elite traits would all return and that's why he got 3 year extension,it was a medically calculated extension with minimal risk.

I went a bit overboard this week looking into the AFLs injury reports over the past four years.

If it wasn't clear already, we're really good at injuring our players.

this probably says its all.

found it more interesting the teams that also were consistently at the bottom, some like GCS and Adelaide had similar age/exp profiles and yet, don't have the same dramatic injury problems.

Burge at Hawthorn as well has managed to keep them well managed too, obviously.
