    One of the airlines (can’t remember which one now) proposed using the 15min Covid tests prior to boarding. If the test is reliable it would be a viable option.

    A number of countries have directed automakers to produce ventilators. I think it’s important to retain some sort of manufacturing base that enables you to retool in cases of emergency. Perhaps we end up subsiding some industry knowing it’s inefficient just to provide that capability in emergencies.

    It’s a resourcing thing too, talking to a copper they’ve already had members that have caught it which means others need to self isolate if they’ve been in contact. They are getting moved from other stations to cover for absences. Leave will be canceled soon too.
