Doesn't look so good now does it? A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

We will not get both Cummins & Perryman albeit one would be nice and I will be very happy if Port Pays the Perryman

List Mgmt. Welcome Campbell Chesser (Pick 14, 2021 National Draft)

Leek Aleer would be pretty handy for us right now. Van Rooyen probably has claims to being the best performed of that list but would probably be surplus for us I still rate Johnson too who really was the obvious pick. Still reckon there might be something there with Chesser but admittedly not...

List Mgmt. Welcome Campbell Chesser (Pick 14, 2021 National Draft)

That part of the draft was absolutely garbage. I think we did well later, with Hough and J Williams looking good. I'm still optimistic with Bazzo if he stays fit. I think Chesser will find a role. Might not be a star but has an athelitic profile that will be useful. Would like to see him try HB.

Ironic that Brisbane nailed it since they would have drafted Chesser supposedly.

JVR too, but I mean how many KPF’s can a team have (and we were always set on a small after loading up on talls in prior drafts). Hobbs being speculated in trade circles, to get opportunities away from an underperforming Dons midfield. Sinn - basically completely unsighted I think. On iPhone...

List Mgmt. Welcome Campbell Chesser (Pick 14, 2021 National Draft)

Port took Josh Sinn with the pick we traded to them From that list I think Wilmot is the one I’d most like followed by Lohmann The rest haven’t done that much to suggest Chesser is a bust in comparison to who we might have picked

Rumour 2024 Rumours and Speculation (Rumours total 25, last 28th August)

Yes, and they traded for JHF in 2022. What I'm not sure about is how the recruitment of JHF affects their window - does it count as 2 players in 2021, or 1 player in 2021 (Sinn) and 1 player in 2022 (JHF)?

They picked Josh Sinn in the 2021 AFL draft with pick 12. https://www.draftguru.com.au/clubs/port-adelaide#2021

List Mgmt. Trade & Free Agency Part 9

What we think of them is irrelevant. Clubs don’t offer load a first round pick unless they are sure they are a bust. So much marketing goes into a high first rounder, then to flick them off two years later is unacceptable to most fans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't have an issue with it as long as it doesn't impact any of our decent picks this draft and doesn't take senior games away from those kids who need it.

Agree, although being the 7th defender is the easiest position to play in the AFL. Burton and Evans need a big month. Sinn needs to just play a role. Our options for sub (Narkle, Evans, McEntee) free up DBJ to swing back in the event Sinn is being exposed.

Preview Changes & Preview Thread for QF2, 2024 vs Geelong

The thought of playing Josh Sinn in finals is terrifying. He's never shown anything to suggest he's remotely ready for this kind of responsibility, and even one weak link (especially in defence) could be the difference between us winning and losing a flag. It's a total Hail Mary, but at this...

    All Aboard

You are so wrong on this... * The "Kick it to Dixon" forward gameplan is all but gone. Dixon's role has changed, and since Georgiades return and Rats' inclusion, our leading patterns have improved, along with our forward entries. * The ultra high press we were using last year is all but gone...

...and Mitch would want a big game. I just can't see a premiership winning team having room for blokes like McEntee, Frank Evans and Josh Sinn (based on past performances). Having said all of this, in the spirit of this thread, I'm all aboard. I want us to win. I've said it before, all Port...

...Hinkley told reporters on Friday. "I'm really comfortable that Dan will play more games for Port." Hinkley will turn to Ryan Burton and Josh Sinn to replace Houston in his rebounding half-back role. "We're very lucky with our half-backs that we've got a number of players who are good...

Genuine question, what players have been traded for more than picks 9 and 10? I don't expect you to know, I dont, but there wouldnt many in recent history. Judd but no comparison as he was the arguably the best mid in the game at that time. Dylan Shiel and 2nd rounder for - 9 and 14 - he was...

Jye Caldwell @ 11 and Butters @ 12 in 2018 weren't fails, I would argue that Wang-Milera is a hit along with Flanders, Hollands, Fletcher, Bruhn and Pedlar, too early to tell on O'Sullivan and Gothard (luv that name)
