i have not seen anyone mention this yet, but i thought our tackling technique was very poor. Too many broken or missed tackles allowing * to thrust forward. Several of their goals came from missed tackles that good sides just don't allow. Compare us to swans or Carltons defensive tackle...

First round picks is semantics. Sydney has 5 academy picks in their top 23 this year. Heaney, Mills, Gulden, Blakey and Campbell. That is a huge leg up in my eyes. Particularly when they can package picks and get two top 5 picks in a year (Campbell and McDonald)
