Have to say I snuck over to the Geelong board last and read 10 pages of their GF autopsy thread.
Bit disappointing really. Very little salt considering. Lots of respect for us and reflection of their position. Some ripping posts. On the whole Very classy. Respect. :thumbsu:
yes but we did "big" things with that pick(at Saints expense). We win the flag the following year. Lets wait a another 2-3 years before we assess that trade.
Would Butler in our side during 2020 have improved our year? me thinks not.
Dont forget Scully/Trengove over Martin. :p
We've done our time. we can laugh at those misses now, knowing that Post 50 in the draft and the rookie draft is where the value is at!!
what they don't realise is that if we didn't have 2018, I am positive we'd have NOT won four in a row. The pain of 2018 was the best motivator (I expect similar for Hawthorn with 2011 and 2012). The core has that now.
Time playing before the 17 gf was a huge (and pleasing) surprise. Love the drums in the intro... then again last year too. Was glad to hear it again last night. How long have they been doing it?
A little? Script... talk about rebooting the 2019 prelim....
Tigers Start the game well going out to a 2-3 goal lead.
Geelong take control of the game while tigers assess and manage injuries. Half time Geelong 15-20 points in front, although the score not really reflecting their dominance...
that's bizarre. I had a similar magpie experience that day back in 2018 as well. well I didn't let it in the house. But it was hanging around the back yard all day. We'd shoo it off and it kept coming back.
funny thing is I'm pretty sure our cat got it the next day (after he'd finished it...
Worth watching again. the first half they dominate. I’m using it to steel myself for similar on Saturday night. They dominate 50% and we dominate the other 50% = we win.
