I really don't think we've gone backwards. Way more positive signs than this time last year. Now whether that is enough to go all the way is another question but I don't think we've lost ground.

A very, very poor night. I know it's good to be consistently up there but a 3rd prelim lost in 5 years is at least one wasted flag any way you slice it. On the positive, thought Bews was great, Cocky will grow from experience on the big stage and Duncan very good again.

Personally, I think finals are unique and the AFL should make case-by-case decisions. Yes, we are disadvantaged if we 'host' a MCG tenant at the G, but honestly the finals are not fair and equitable to begin with and unless we actually wanna get into the 'GF always at the G' question, it's not...

Next week to decide where we play. If you assume that Giants win today (against WC) and Richmond win against Dockers tomorrow and saints next week it will be: Win: Finish 2nd - First Final: Host Giants at SS Lose: Finish 4th - First Final: Adelaide in Adelaide

Think a lot of you are being a bit miserable to be honest. Yeah it wasn't world class footy but we finally got over a win over our long-running bogey team, on a surface we need to win at and secured top 4. Good day imo.
