I think Kolo does the best he can with limited football assets. We have a body of work from Kolo to make a fairly good assessment of what he can and can't do .In my opinion his footy IQ leaves a bit to be desired (not a great decision maker under pressure), wastes the ball a bit and often misses...
Was at the game last night and this is what I saw.............
our back line which has looked and played very solidly all year, last night looked a little shaky to me.
Kolo was too slow, not a great kick or good decision maker'
Atkins is not looking sharp and is not playing with confidence and...
Perth weather forecast for tomorrow arvo/evening is NO RAIN.
This should suit our precise mark/kick/ball control game style.
A whole lot different to the Dockers game earlier in the season where it did not stop raining all night.
If you put together a best ever Cat's Team made up of only WA players (going back to Polly), you would find probably find that you could put a whole team together and a number of them would be contenders for our best ever team. That is a major reason why there is such a big following of Cat's...
This post is the very reason why opposition supporters dislike the Tiger supporters so much.
Just no humility.
They were exactly the same when they had that very good team in the early seventies.
They just could not enjoy their success without trying to rub opposition supporters noses in the...
I wonder if the selection committee have ever given any consideration to moving Rohan into the backline?
With the addition of Cameron and Higgins into the forward line and Danger spending more game time forward it would seem that Rohan's opportunities as a forward will become more limited next...
The Cats wont be letting Parfitt go anywhere! Probably one of his best games for us last night and if he keeps playing and learning his craft alongside teammates like Danger, Sellwood, Ablett, Duncan, etc. he will eventually develop into an elite onballer.
Slow the replay down to a frame by frame view and you will get a much clearer view of the incident.
No way was he still in the field of play when he got the "extended arms" shove that launched the player head first into the fence (and also collected the chair on the way through).
"Gonski" I think!

Lifted the following info from WCE Big Footy site.
I hope that the club keep an eye on other club's posts and that they are already aware of this kid.
We may be able to figure him into the Tim Kelly deal!

OMG...
Who were the 4 out of 20?
Where did you get this FALSE information from?
Do you even know who was in your original squad?
Did you even support the Eagles back then or did you become a supporter after they started winning?
Typically, you missed my last point AGAIN!
My point was that the Eagles...
Cry Me A River !
4 out of 20!!!!!!!!!!
These 27 players (all from the Eagles Inaugural Squad) PLAYED State footy.....
Dwayne Lamb, Michael Brennan, Paul Peos, Ross Glendinning, Mark Zanotti, Phil Narkle, Murray Wrensted, Peter Davidson, Dean Laidley, Laurie Keene, Don Holmes, Steve Malaxos...
"Underdogs since day 1"!
What a joke!!
The Eagles were set up to succeed by the AFL!
None of the new sides that were bought in back then were given a "state side" to start off with (for example, the poor old Dockers).
I can't remember too many games at Subi where the Eagles were on the wrong end...
If this kid is as good as we are hearing from our friends in the West then he could potentially have a long and successful career at The Cattery.
Not saying that he is in the same class as other Geelong "mature age recruits" from the West, but remember Polly was 28 and Dennis Marshall was 24...
Hawthorn just keep creating new records but the best one is their lack of contribution to this game day conversation!
Where have they all gone?
Just goes to show what the rest of us know ie. "fair weather supporters"!
