It's funny, but i reckon i've heard at least a dozen people say oh they should have played this, or that, and all different songs, Unknown Caller, Exit, Unforgettable Fire, Mofo, Desire etc etc, i wished they played Breathe, but not to be, i guess when a band has so many great songs that could...
Depends on where you want, some people started lining up around 3ish and got 2 or 3 people behind the front of the outside stage, and you'd still easily get inside the pit, just not right up front.
Alot of my photo's are taken beforehand, different shots of the stage set up, black & white...
Went to both concerts, GA for the first & the $39 seats for the friday night, lined up on Wednesday from around 11am, and got to where we wanted to, almost directly in front, front row of the outside stage, was just unbelievable, because you're right amongst it, the atmosphere compared to the...
Why can't Panos play in the same forward line as Little though? We see now in the Dogs team players rotating in & our of the forward line, we see a Minson or Roughead play deep at stages, Grant given a run at FF at times, if Panos is going to make it, he will have to eventually adapt for all...
It didn't, but they also had quite alot of quality experienced players to learn from, Fraser, Lockyer, Medhurst, O'Bree to name a few who seemingly had no longterm future at the club, and in many ways, could have been taking spots from the kids down in the Collingwood VFL side.
I tend to agree with your arguments OS, if a player is good enough, he will push his way into the side regardless, and in this day & age, players really need to adapt in a variety of positions, i believe kids would develop better having good players around them, rather than being thrown in the...
I posted this elsewhere....
I wonder how much it really costs to get one of these modern jumpers made up that eventually sells for over $100, i'm tipping they are cheap as chips to make up, what if the club runs off some special promotion with a signature of choice for $120, maybe framed for...
An opinion is fine, to continue to disrespect is another thing, and who can blame suppoorters sticking up for the club they love when some hobo continues to sink the boot in on every occasion.
Everyone bar Akermanis should have been sacked or retired or this or that, and he has now come to...
Hill isn't a crumbing small forward though, his strength is taking overhead grabs, the Dogs have been desperate to find a small crumbing forward.
This is why i thought he would have fit in nicely alongside two genuine tall forwards which the Hawks have, in 2009 he snagged 33 goals in a midget...
Yep, second that.
I'm just glad in a way that we didn't bolster up Hawthorn's stocks as they'll most likely be a "finals player" again next season, especially knowing how desperate they were to get Josh at their club.
33 goals last year with no help from ANY tall forwards] and almost 2...
A few speculate late picks there, Cam Wight & Stevie Tiller with picks around the 60 & 70 mark, Skipper was also a late'ish pick [he's still servicable at his 2nd home].
The big fail was Tim Walsh at 4 and perhaps Jesse Wells at 21.
Then on the flipside, you have Brian Lake at 74, Jordan...
Nup, actually the Dogs ended up bending Pelchen over when he offered 37 & 60 odd for Josh, he must have been pretty desperate, and all Hawks supporters would have gone into complete meltdown.
On the other hand, why would Pelchen go LIVE on Trade Radio and say that they offered 37 AS WELL AS 60 something when all week he said there was no way known they'd noway known use 37 for Hill?
Pelchen was also "reported" to have been kicked out of the meeting, the whole saga seems like a bit if a mess.
37 alone should have got the job done, Pelchen says they offered the Dogs 37 & 60 something, and the Dogs say no, either the Dogs bent Pelchen over something cronic and for whatever...
Both Aker [3 years left in him] & Hall [2 years] for second rounders, Aker was for pick 28, can't exactly remember the number for Barry.
Josh is only 21, in 2009 he snagged 33 goals [we had no tall forwards], this year we had one tall forward in Barry Hall, Josh snagged 21 goals in only 12...
So why would the Hawks be so desperate for his services anyway if he's so soft & lazy along with the ugly dad issue?
Is it because most Hawks fans want players traded in for the sake of it? Do we think the Hawks have a better infrastructure at the club to turn Josh's career around, like say...
Re: #10 Confirmed Sherman to Bulldogs for compensation draft pick
Looks to fit nicely at the Dogs, we needed pace, we have enough inside players, Boyd, Cross, Picken, Ward etc plus Libba & Wallis this year, both also inside mids with not great pace, Griffen & Cooney will get a chop out.
