I have no issues with priority picks for struggling teams, but there should be conditions. Theu should be given out at the end of the first round after all other teams have picked.. They shouldn't be able to be traded..

All that does is give the team holding Curtin a little more power for a fair trade. Which is why I don’t think WCE will actually trade a future first. They can keep it and if it’s pick 1 next year they can split it and keep a first rounder.

Why? WCE might just sit back and grab Curtin next season when he wants to go home.. Why trade a future first and risk giving up the no 1 pick, when you can trade it for two top ten picks in 2024 and give one to whoever drafted Curtin and keep the other one.
