The 31k attendance was great to see considering the train issues, starting time and the likelihood of a one sided match. I think it hints that we will get 30000+ each game (unless the weather is particularly terrible). It wouldn’t surprise me if we average 33-35k for the season given the games...
I thought the atmosphere was a little disappointing after the bumper crowd last game. Not too many North fans (and not much for them to get excited about, admittedly). What did everyone else think? There were 31k there, so I thought we’d get some more noise!
One thing I did notice was the low...
I’m another that had a little more luck with reception this time around- but only after shutting down my phone, restarting it and setting my Voice & Data mode to “5G Auto “and setting my data mode to “Low Data Mode”. I could actually send off a few texts and load some web pages.

About 300 seats still available on Ticketmaster, mostly single seats and some accessable seating. The Selwood Stand has a some groups of seats left but not many. Looks promising for a great start to the season and stand opening!

From memory there were lots of comments at the time re. the sold-out game not hitting full capacity numbers. That’s probably when we started looking a little more...
Nice work Tyzza. Hopefully we will get an accurate figure once everything is up and running for a few weeks.
Here are the stand capacities according to austadiums.com…
“The stadium features six grandstands, including the Brownlow Stand, the Players Stand (9,340 seats), the Premiership Stand...
I’m not able to be there tonight but hopefully some good photos will be posted tomorrow.
Can’t wait to actually see what we’ve been rambling on about here for the last 88 pages!
