Really happy for him. Surprised but happy.
We need some luck. Marchy deserves some luck.
If all goes well, he, in some small way, helps to fill a Weitering sized gap in the back half.
I wish I shared your confidence. Those pricks have a nasty habit of growing an extra leg when we are invloved.
I agree they are s**t but I'll be happier when the game is over and we salute.
Great story... Sam Durdin. 30 years from now:
Tell us a story from your footy playing days Grandpa! Please, Please...
Well, alright. My career started kind of well, I was picked up early and for the first year or so, I thought I'd be playing for many years in the AFL. It seems to come to you...
You're a very patient bagger... ;) I
think it is perfectly reasonable to expect a player to be ready to play in 12 months. The latest update pushes it out closer to 15 months - best case. A previous post suggested soft tissue injuries are relatively common upon return. fair enough.
I'm saying...
Yuk, re: Taylor Walker.
As for Cunners, the difference is he has NOT PLAYED. Not even close.
Soft tissues after returning to play I can kind of accept, around 12 months after surgery....
And McG, where did he get a graft from, a road-killed wombat scrotum?
Just frustrating. I know the club is trying, we have a good list, we could go deep this year. This may just about be THE key reason it will the year we say; if only we had just average luck with injury we could have...
So disappointing. Are we really that "unlucky"
Cunningham, he injured himself in Round 9 against Melbourne on the 16th May 2021. How does an ACL extend beyond 12 months? Calf tightness? He HAS NOT PLAYED! How?
McG had a "Minor" hammy, at Carlton that means... just about missed the year...
Exceeded my expectations. That leap with 3 minutes to go... whoa... awesome. I must admit I never thought he'd do what is doing again. So happy to be wrong.
Anything to see here? If Charlie clunks this without attention from Moore...? Ah, would have been a robbery. In real-time I was just so excited to see CC fly for the ball, might have scared the kids at home... oops.
Good game. I thought they were a 4 goal better side on the day, as much as I hate to admit it.
I would have loved to have pinched it.
Brave loss, no shame.
