    Losing players during a game

GWS won with 1 on the bench last night and 16 or 17 on the field last week. So just be like GWS. Problem with subs is the potential for a niggling injury being blown out of proportion to get a 100% fit player into the rotations. Will be abused.

Tex's tackle - a free kick for, then against, and then maybe a suspension

Oppo supporters arent level headed enough to see that. They will see Tex's name, see the team you support and itll be open season with the salt

If this keeps up On The Couch will be fantastic. Lyon and Roos have been telling us that the Dees are next best to Richmond.

    Hawthorn v Richmond

    And now its really embarrassing.

Tex's tackle - a free kick for, then against, and then maybe a suspension

This will not end well for you, Tex or the club you support. And your thread will be moved if its not locked first. #nostradamus

    AFL 2018 R21: Melbourne v Sydney Swans - 15:20 AEST, Aug 12, 2018 MCG 14°

How frustrating to see 40 minutes of hard work wastedin 5 mins.

    Hawthorn v Richmond

...as a fan its fairly obvious that I would prefer my team won a premiership than none at all. You are trying too hard to save face. Letting it go and fading into obscurity works better.

    Hawthorn v Richmond

I cant make finals because Im not a football side. Making a dumb comment to me as if my wishes represent those of the AFC or that my opinion has anything to do with whether the Crows made finals or not is as nonsensical as it is irrelevant.

    Richmond's struggle with interstate games

One one-off season does not make a sound comparison to a perpetual advantage. When the big dance is played at your home ground its a huge advantage unless you think home ground advantage isnt a thing in which case you would be wrong. I get that you share your ground with 3 other teams...

Good work Swans. Melbourne look impotent.

    Hawthorn v Richmond

.....i would take a premiership hangover over no premiership at all.

    Coach of the Year?

    Fagan and Cameron

    Hawthorn v Richmond

Oh yes because the GF on your home deck is totally related to the tigers playing interstate. Bit slow champ.

    Keep smashing GC champ.

Collingwood vs Port Adelaide Friday Night Marvel Stadium - Crunch Game in battle of the '' Magpies '' edited Page 3 onward current discussion

Will be a fairly quiet September in SA. Everyone gearing up for the Strikers and the Reds.

    Hawthorn v Richmond

Hawthorn 13-15 didnt give you much to hope for. They were a great team for many years. If Richmond have to travel for a prelim they wont make the GF. You wouldn't say the same of Hawthorn.

West Coast's record at the Adelaide Oval

I dont dispute that. But how does that make it an exciting game?

West Coast's record at the Adelaide Oval

I loved yesterdays result but thr match wasnt that good until the final minute. WCE got spanked Q1, hung around Q2 and 3 and then with 2 extra rotations managed to steal it. Wasn't exactly pulsating stuff. Just 30 seconds before LeCras' goal it didnt look likely at all. Then that last minute...

    Richmond's struggle with interstate games

Well done, you just moved the conversation to a whole new topic. I wasnt debating who the better side is/was. I pointed out that what ifs are pointless. There are plenty of what ifs where Adelaide are premiers. Plenty for Richmond. All that matters is what does happen. Well done on taking...

    Richmond's struggle with interstate games

You are speculating on results. You are using 2018 form and throwing it back to 2017. You werent unbeatable on the MCG in 2017. See my previous post to Bender about this.

    Richmond's struggle with interstate games

Assuming you won those games. Pure speculation. You got to play an away final against a non MCG tenant at the MCG. Adelaide dont get that privelige. Lets be real here you play at Kardinia last year you lose and come to AO in the prelim and lose. See? I can do speculation and what ifs too.

    Richmond's struggle with interstate games

And you try to argue that infrastructure funded by the state govt is dictated by the clubs. Please. And if you want someone to respond to your last paragraph it needs to be coherent. Why do Richmond deserve to play extra H&A games last year to get on top?

    Richmond's struggle with interstate games

Ah yes the old "accept the inequality" argument. Boring.

    GWS/Leon Cameron

WCE GWS GF would be great. Wouldn't mind who won.

    Richmond's struggle with interstate games

Couple of logic points here- - if we imagine clubs did decide to have unique dimensions, then it actually also allows the Vic clubs to have an advantage rhe other way. This makes no sense. -clubs dont just get to choose. You say they do, then acknowledge they dont push so hard implying they...

    Richmond's struggle with interstate games

Im sure clubs get to voice an opinion but the grounds dont get built solely for AFL usage. I'm not trying to start another long, ultimately pointless debate as we will never agree but whenever anyone starts to talk about blaming other states for not replicating the G I start to question whether...
