I’m trying to think big picture. In the last 5 years Yea, Broadford, Thornton have all gone into recession. Hopefully not but potentially Powelly. This hasn’t helped anybody. If the trend continues the situation starts getting pretty dire.

I wonder if there would be room for a small, basic competition in this area? Similar to the Omeo comp. 1 open age team, 1 unders side with a wide age bracket. 2 netball teams. Maybe a shorter season. Better to see clubs survive in some form than fall over completely in my opinion.

Footballers I think 2-5. Gilderoy and three bridges a few more. Most volunteers are pretty local though. Could do worse than Marysville I think it’s a great spot. Are there netball courts there?
